Walkerburn's future, your vision, our plan

A meeting of over 40 Walkerburn residents took place on 1st May in the Walkerburn Rugby Club to discuss the results of the community survey which took place earlier in the year.

Residents at the meeting were first of all given a brief presentation on the findings of the survey.  They were then asked to put the issues which had emerged as of most concern into priority groups and to discuss the extent to which the issues could be tackled by the community acting alone and those for which some outside help would be needed.

The findings from the meeting will now be written up and presented as the Walkerburn Community Led Plan.  A substantial number of those at the meeting said that they would be willing to help move the issues from the plan forward, and there will be a further meeting to start this off in the near future.
