LOGS FOR SALE

Softwood logs for collection from the field site on Galashiels Road.

It's pick your own!  £5 per wheelbarrow load.

Please contact Ian Ireland on 870287 to arrange collection.

Crafts 4U Appeal

Wanted old wool jumpers (it doesn't matter if they have shrunk in the wash!), blankets, cotton T-shirts and jeans, as we are starting to learn how to prog, hook and braid to make rag rugs.

Please bring any clean items to Crafts 4 U (Tuesday - Thursday).

If you wish to learn the art of rag rugging come and join us on Tuesdays 10-12.

Basic Horticulture Training

We are currently recruiting to offer places for basic horticulture training. This is open to all in the community, with or without an allotment.

The training will provide basic skills to support you to grow your own produce.

We are also looking at providing training on the strimmer mower, brushcutter, pruner, sawchain and hedge trimmer (including the National Proficiency Training Certificate (NPTC) Assessment). Dates and times are to be confirmed.

Anyone interested in either of these training opportunities should contact Nichola Sewell on 07748 320108.
